Set up was kind of easy. You do need a perfectly level ground which is next to impossible to get especially in VT. We bought this pool in the summer of 2001. Everyone enjoyed, my family of 5 and the neighborhood children. We anxiously set the pool up this year and we have had nothing but problems. The water is leaking out and we can not find any holes, must be in the seams somewhere. Filled the pool twice and have not been able to swim in it this year. It is as if you need a new liner and cement it into the seams. So now we feel like we wasted money and time, especially this year. My family is very disappointed this year!

Make sure your ground is level! - Giddylicious - Oregon
My parents had purchased one of these a few years back. My father used sand to level an area for it in are back yard. We filled it up, thought it was doing okay. When I woke up the next morning the seam had broken open and flooded the back yard.
Buyer be warned.
